Jesus Rose Again
On the cross when Jesus died
Though our sins were gone
If the Son of God was dead
How could we go on?
His friends took his body down

He came back from the dead

A whole-church song telling the story of Easter in simple language based on John’s gospel account. I asked my friend Sue Crossman of Hopestream Worship if she would sing lead vocals as I felt the song’s pace and energy lent itself well to her voice.
I mixed this at home on 31 tracks in Cubase 14 (first track completed with Cubase after moving from Reaper so massive learning curve!) with the following:

- Vocals run through Izotope Nectar 4 with lead and backing vocals treated separately. Female harmony created by shifting lead vocal down a third using Cubase AudioWarp. Male harmony created by taking my original (rough) lead up a third using Cubase AudioWarp.
